Day 3, leaving Emerald Bay on Lake Tahoe for Soda Bay on Clear Lake via the North Fork Feather River (definitely not a direct route!) I actually turned around and rode South, back the way I had come, to capture this view. All very experimental with the GoPro, using the Dango Design Gripper Mount stuck inside my helmet, the camera upside down, and me with my chin in the air… Definitely not ideal.
Highway 1 turns inland about 20 miles North of Fort Bragg, CA and becomes a lovely twisty ride through the forest. I think the video footage is a bit better now with the mount clipped over the windscreen and a camping towel!
